Any advice for a guy who's xbox keeps overheating.

Ive been through it all, first the red rings, then my fan broke. Once I fixed that, my xbox keeps overheating again, any advice? Should i just take it apart and play games on it?

I have xbox 360 and PS3 and I seriously never touch the PS3, if all the games you own and all your friends play on xbox and you can afford it just get a new xbox or if you wanna make the switch and try it out go PS3
