He's got a full arsenal.
You probably don't get a gun until a certain part in the game from what I'm guessing.

I've been trying to get back into finishing AC II the last week or so but I've been too busy to really get further.

I saw this today, and now I'm definitely finishing it.

This is such an awesome concept and I can't wait to play through it, whenever it comes out.

didn't finish AC1, finished AC2, didn't play Brotherhood and Revelations. should i play the last 2?

Brotherhood is whatever, just play it to beat it for story.

Revelations is a must, just to catch you up on whats going on in the story.

Three primary flags were used during the American Revolution – a "Don't Tread on Me" flag, a flag with a Union Jack and a thirteen-star flag which was used after 1777. This suggests that a significant element of Assassin's Creed III will take place in the middle of the Revolutionary War, and specifically between 1777 and 1778.

George Washington?

George Washington?

^^ Reaching into his jacket for...

SPOILER

Just did the part in AC II where you find glyphs and do puzzles to get a secret video from the guy they used before you in the animus. You have to spin around parts of paintings of famous leaders to get the second video clip. You do paintings of Queen Elizabeth, Napoleon, and George Washington. They're all holding or reaching into their pocket, like above, for a Piece of Eden, which I still haven't figured out yet how that ties into the story.

So there's a definite link to this setting for AC III in AC II. It's weird that I just did that part yesterday with this news coming out.

Different main characters in each game, all related though. You really are playing as a guy from our time as he plays as his ancestor.

Ubisoft Won't Stop Until "Assassin's Creed 10"

Ubisoft has so far had zero shame about milking the Assassin's Creed franchise, but can you blame them? Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations have all been incredible, gamers love them, and they're still selling, so why quit?

When we asked Assassin's Creed 3 Creative Director Alex Hutchinson at E3 what was in store for the future of the series, he replied that he was legally unable to answer our question. We understand. But apparently Ubisoft North America's Executive Director Laurent Detoc has a little more freedom in what he can and can't say.

When Gamasutra asked Detoc about reaching Assassin's Creed 8, 9 and 10, he replied, "I hope we will."
