Usually means it's over heating and shuts down. Call Sony if you still have warranty on your console.

That's the only thing that I can think of, I mean I've heard of the yellow light, but whenever mine is red it usually means that it's overheating

its the slim, but it wont even like turn on now, its just the flashing red light, i think its fried
