Hopefully he remakes the first 2 original nes games as one full length tale,seeing as how those games are extreamly slept on,and have very limited diolouge,but they explain the origin of solid snake,gray fox (the cyborg ninja),big boss's reign of evil,and liquid and snake's initial feud.

i dont care much for the story anymore. its a complete cluster fuck. i played MGS 2-4 and couldn't really keep up with it.

its probably because of the order the games are numbered in.if you play 1,2,and 4,the games follow the same storyline.MGS3 was set before the events of MG,MG2 and MGS,so its pretty much the true beginning.

For some reason I doubt that snake will continue his adventure in 5.his story basically concludes at the end of MGS4.kojima can really only go backwards storywise,or forward into the future with a new protagonist.I sincerly hope he remakes MG1 and MG2 into one huge story.that's really the only way I can see him using snake again.

i think i remember reading an interview years ago where kojima said if he decided to make another MGS game, solid snake wouldn't be the protagonist anymore. i think raiden would be the obvious choice for MGS 5

^ then again kojima didnt skip out on 360 with mgs4 cause he wanted to...its because he signed an exclusivity deal AND because the system couldnt handle it. I think I remember him saying that he wouldnt want to have to split the game code on two discs

I just did some research and I found out that the download code only comes with the MGSHDC Ultimate Edition,which comes with MGS 1,2,3,4,PW,and MG1&2.
Its supposed to drop later this month for about 69.99

If you just want MGS1,they have it on the psn marketplace for 9.99 as well.
