So you want your new router to work with your old router
cuz your old router has your IP and your new router cant
because your new router dont have your old router IP but your prefer
the old router over the new router all because the IP

IP = Internet Provider in this case

and yes you should be able to use it it doesnt matter who youre getting internet from.
