Pokemon is still huge, always will be. Their pokemon games set records and shit everytime they drop. The show is still watched every week. Only thing to really take a hit was pokemon cards. There is still a scene for it and its big in comparison to other card games but its not what it used to be. Thats why they made this site so that instead of having a bunch of small factions scattered around the world, they can all play together now and have a big community again.

Also you gotta add the nostalgia factor it has now, while kids are mostly now getting into the video game, people who were kids in the early to mid 90s remember how huge of a phenomenon it was.

I played this like 4 months ago. I even copped a Nintendo DS,
and Pokemon Soulsilver,- played it through, good times.
Right now I'm kind of bored with it, but I'm sure I'll get into it again at some point.
I'm still pissed off Pokemon is not real life, lol
