According to Daily Tech, however, PreCentral posted a memo that HP reportedly sent to its affiliates. "HP will be lowering the price of the TouchPad beginning Saturday 8/20/11. This is the lowest price ever for the TouchPad so please post it as soon as it goes live. 16GB TouchPad- $99; 32GB TouchPad - $149," the note reads.

Brother called up most of the stores near me, nobody has them.
Apparently most stores are sending them back instead of selling them for clearance price.

Tbh though, I'd rather pay the extra $400 and just get an iPad lol.

Yea it seems like bestbuy isn't selling them but shipping them back to hp, and every other store is sold out or doesn't even list them anymore.

I kinda wanted to get the 16gb cause I'd really only use it to browse the internet, and $99 is way better than $400/500 for a similar device.

Thanks to attag, i learned how to overclock my touchpad and it's

. honestly browsing wise, its better than the ipad 2 which i also own. but the ipad is still better as it has more apps/ more niqqas support it.

but at 100 u cant go wrong especially after the overclock
