GW is a great mmo to 'main' and FFXIV is terrible just in case you weren't aware.

I'm a big fan of FFXI too, had a 75 SAM and 75 WHM. Sadly the only thing the games have in common are the FF title and the appearance of the races. I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole.

been reading up on it the past couple days...getting real excited. been looking for an MMO to main since i got bored with TOR quickly (bonus that theres no subs). completely missed out on the first GW days because i just never got around to it

just pre-ordered so im playing in any of the beta events left before launch..going to roll engineer

i think 1 world transfer is free so if people trying to play with HB people we can all just switch. btw this game is super confusing coming from WoW the controls and mechanics of the game is totally different.

how long would it take one person to reach max level if they just played it out without cheesing? GW1 got mundane for me real fast even with the expansions, on the fence with this game
