First off, how the fuck does he have new armor if he has been floating in space all this time. Second, he was approaching a planet at the end of 3, wtf was that? Lastly, I hate the way Bungie makes Halo because its a great concept poorly executed by a dedicated game company which is really disappointing.

I am eager to see more.

I think it's forerunner or the shielded world. Either way it's going down!

word this is gonna suck. first off I don't think those are the original voices for either characters, and they don't have master chief down at all... he's not a fuckin space acrobat doing all those flips and shit, he's supposed to be a no-nonsense badass. Plus, having Cortana wake him up with "wake up I need you" which is exactly what he said at the end of 3? terrible writing/storytelling

I think we'll get a good idea of what 343i (producers of h4 and Halo: CE Anniversary) When Anniversary drops THIS year. Halo is NOT overrated at all. I've been playing since I was a kid when the first one came out and have been loyal since, if you just pick it up and start playing it can be fun or an o.k experience but for total tryhards on xbl they hate it because they can't camp for 15 minutes straight like they can in CoD.

Regardless, Bungie is still one of the greatest game developers and just because the game is produced by 343i doesn't mean bungie wont have their hands in it.

It was the first console game to balance out weapons and limit the amount of weapons you could carry to 2.

the first console shooter to really get that combat feeling right, a lot of other games to made enemies run at you or stand in the open waiting to be shot. At the time the enemies in Halo were clever, they would run for cover, roll away from danger, make mistakes, and try to flush you out with grenades if they couldn't get a shot on you.

Halo 2 made a heavy influence to how online fps were played and Halo 3 for putting a spectator mode in that saves the last few games you play so you can watch them at your leisure.

not a lot of people like Halo. I'm not a super major fan of it myself, it's a good laugh to play now and then, but it isn't something I would dedicate a massive amount of time to because I have a really short attention span. But to deny its impact and influence on games today and the cultural it made is just anti-halo fanboyism at its finest. its ok to not like/hate the game but the influence it made is something as a gamer you can not deny.

but since microsoft has taken over. you might as well say good bye to this legacy that bungie has left behind. gamers will come to know it just as microsofts milking cow from now on.
