Honestly what I don't like after Fifa 09 is the fact that ranked clubs has to be played with your virtual pro now...I liked it much better when in club you picked Atletico Madrid you'd be playing with Forlan and shit not made up characters + your virtual pros.

that's still there. I think it's called online team play.

Yup, and guess what, everyone plays the 11 on 11 and we just want to play with our 3-4 guys. We set up a game with the 5 v 5 settings but not many people search for those games.

ALSO

WE LIKE CLUBS.

We like the ranking system of having the club and all that, we enjoy the competition.

I just want an option to play it for ranked clubs like the fifa 09 way.

I don't remember it ever being like that.. once virtual pro was introduced they brought clubs. I remember playing team play with the actual players, but not in club mode.

Ya that was Fifa 09 man..you could play in ranked club league with at least 3 people...pick a squad...club or national, and use their actual real rosters.

I have, I'm done playing Fifa 11 now I gotta get used to this new defensive system.

Having a hard time dispossessing and messing up the computers rhythm on the hardest level of the demo...the computer is damn good.

Hated the demo at first, especially the defending; it was damn near impossible for me to figure out.

Went from my normal pro difficulty down to semi-pro, still struggled a bit.

Last few games I figured the game out, started scoring goals actually and being able to win the ball.

For defending I still haven't completely figured it out. Sometimes I just manually contain a player using L2, sometimes bring a second defender over with R1, sometimes try standing tackles, and sometimes use the contain feature with X.

It seems like most times I'm just waiting for the ai to make a mistake in order to win the ball, very rarely can I go and just steal it away.

I also thought it was bad at first that the ai just contains you, giving you way more time on the ball. But it's actually better than 11 where you were instantly pressured. It's easier to hold the ball, look for open space or an open man, switch play to the other side of the field, etc. But sometimes it's too easy, like there were quite a few times where the ai let me basically walk into the box with aguero and didn't even pressure me at all.

To be honest, everyone I know seems to dislike the new defensive system, whereas I seem to have no complaints. I love the standing tackle. I must admit during the demo, it is quite impossible to achieve a perfect standing tackle but against another person I can. As for offense, I'm not so used to it. I feel more trouble with offense as opposed to defense. I'm more of a trickster dude where I can incorporate jukes in my arsenal but it's proven to be very ineffective now. Cooler goals now. I'm able to do scorpions, volleys and bicycle kicks alot easier. Also, i'm impressed with the way they added the quick throw ins as well.

FYI for those who don't know, you can select the back button during the game to control the goalie.

Can't wait for the actual game!

I was reading people's early impressions since that season pass shit is live, people have the full game and say it's even better than the demo. That shit cray; I really have grown to love the demo.

Tactical Defending sucksssss...I like what you can do with it but I'm a much better and consistent defender with the Legacy Defending (Old System).

EDIT: Apparently although Legacy defending is a control switch in your wireless settings, you HAVE TO USE TACTICAL DEFENDING ONLINE...time to get used to it!

You should just take the time to learn the new system, it's different yes and tough to learn but it opens the game up and really makes it better.

You have to be so patient and play real contain football as opposed to just imposing your will and making tackles.

For ranked clubs I just want to go back to playing as my pro only but the kids I play with are so bad compared to me when it comes to just casually moving the ball around and not like panicking in the defensive 3rd, I may be forced to play ANY

Scoring changed drastically from Fifa 10 to 11.

So far.. I've seen some improvements in the defensive controls from the demo to the real thing.
I've noticed how players wont completely go in for a standing tackle and take like 2 or 3 seconds to recover and continue playing.
I'm getting used to the defensive controls now, but it does allow for shit players/teams to tear you a new one if you try and pressure too much. I havent tried online play yet, just created my virtual pro and started getting him tuned up.
