I have 12 and I enjoyed the shit out of it. And Squall is awesome but idk if he's cooler than Cloud now since the movie. But they're both bitchy haha

X all the way because of the story and music, with XII being close second for it's epic grand scale. VI was good too, but only because Kefka is the series best villain so far.

8 was so bad. Gunswords? i played it and couldnt stand it anymore. the best is either 10 or 7. 10 was the more touching story to me though and was groundbreaking as far as graphics for games at that point. of ALL the ones that have been made, 7 and 10 are the only ones I have ever replayed..... and i wont lie, i cry everytime at the ending of 10.

9 was really good but i wouldnt say it was the best. it lacked a lot of key FF elements to me. The music was lackluster and it was a little goofy.


What key elements? It intentionally pays the most homages to the most FFs.

12, 8, and Tactics are tied for my personal favorites. 12 might take the cake for being the best. Has all the great FF elements (jobs, good weapons, badass summons, great story about a corrupt kingdom and world domination, etc) as well as tying in new things and doing them well (ATB, full roaming world, interchanging characters, different character development system, more). The only bad part about it was just the tedious leveling up and having to get around the huge maps.
7 is one of the greatest games ever. I can easily replay it over and over again.

it never fails,I always end up playing this game at least once every year.
the music,character sprites,and story line are 10/10

Are you saying Chrono trigger is better than the original final fantasy or the series itself? Because CT didn't have enough games to stack up against FF, even though it is an awesome game.
