That benchmark test is comparing your outdated GPU against GPUs of yesterday. 8800M is only DX10 while all the new games coming out today is DX11 not DX10.

my laptop just broke down on me and im looking into buying a new one. any suggestions on a reliable good quality laptop below the price of 500 or maybe more. im not trying to spend much on it i just need something that i can use for general use. im tired of always bringing in my laptop to get it fixed only to have it break down again.

with that budget I suggest going for the C50 laptops.
They're cheap and playback on them is amazing(orso i've heard) due to the fusion apu

Laptop Recommendations?
It's been awhile since I had my desktop and I think it's time I upgrade. I'm looking to spend around $600-$800. If I can, i'll push to $900 if I could come up with extra cash. I basically need it for basic school work and photography. I don't play much games on the computer. I just need something fast and store enough memory, if not its alright since I have an external. I was thinking about a Macbook, but than I'm not sure how the transformation would be from Windows to Mac. Another option was Sony Vaio. Any recommendations? Thanks.

Got a hookup for MacBook pro's with 1terabyte and they already come with programs such as Photoshop. Only problem is these are most likely stolen of course but these people don't know what they have since there only selling them for $1,000 smh. So my question is if I buy one can Apple somehow track me down or some shit? Or if it breaks and I gotta take it in will I get fucked over?

my laptop got the Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. Anyone know how to fix this without the disk or will i have to buy? I can't get past this screen to system restore either.

Not really a lot of server CPUs have relatively low clock speeds and rely on multi core technology. Majority of applications for everyday consumers do not support more then 2 cores. Quad cores still benefit by sharing the CPU load across all cores. In the next few years many more applications will be programmed to incorporate multi cores.

Don't get a ATI 5770 tons of problems with them. Get a GTX 460 there like 130 or cheaper nowadays.
