I doubt it. The two games appeal to different audiences. COD has always been a team deathmatch based multiplayer with arcade style run and gun gameplay with small maps to force non-stop action. BF3 is more team based, with very large environments and multiplayer modes that encourage teamwork (rush/conquest). I played MW2 and Bad Company 2 and treated them as entirely different games, both great in their own ways.

but the mw3 audience is gonna be way bigger though. call of duty uses the most server power of any console game. that's a fact i read.


I'm pretty sure that Battlefield games have always sold less than COD games, but that doesn't make Battlefield obsolete. Like I said, the games attract two different audiences, and both are great in their own ways.

If you're the type that buys all the map packs anyways then it's a no brainer.

Elite = $50
4 Map Packs = $15 X 4 = $60

I pre-ordered the hardened edition so I'm covered haha

Game has been a major disappointment for me. Maps look unfinished. They didnt even bother to redo some emblem and callsigns. Alot of the maps look like old mw2 maps. It looks like they copied and pasted big sections of old mw2 maps to make new ones. Alot of the same textures/vehicles/buildings.

Played for 2 hours and was not impressed. Im assuming the firing of original infinity ward developers had something to do with it. New developers didnt know how to make maps. Some of the little things, like placing random boxes or tires on the ground, or rocks, just arent there.

paid fuckin $0 for my copy too. mall i went to was slippin, EB was only looking at the receipt and let you keep the bracelet while gamestop was giving out games for the bracelet itself cool

i was just there because my roommate had it preordered, not even playin it til next week lolz

Campaign is pretty easy and not that long. It's the same old shit imo, too predictable also. As far as multiplayer and online goes, it's basically MW2 with shittier maps and gets boring fast. I might sell my game pretty soon

Majority of the maps are too small, so that means i can barley snipe. Spawning sucks cause they spawn right behind you (in a small map too. always have to watch ass after every corner). Quick scope needs to gtfo. Tubes are too weak (grenades too). I'll still play it, but disappointed though.
