i hate conquest assault so much, such an unfair game mode. why cant we play regular conquest on the new maps?

Yeah, I'm not a fan either. Regular conquest worked well in Bad Company 2 and BF3, I'm not sure why they had to bring back Conquest Assault which was last seen in BF1942 I think.

I only have the famas, L85A2 and HK57 so far. I just picked up a ps3 copy so I don't have the soflam or mortars to knock out those assignments.

I see those assignments at the end of each round, but I don't know their requirements. Where can you see that?

oh shit i was playing conquest & when a gulf of oman popped up, it wasnt conquest assault! its called conquest, but each team started with 2 flags & a deployment base. i actually like this a little more than the regular conquest, cause the action starts as soon as the match begins.
still didnt see an option to take off conquest assault when playing conquest though, hopefully they change that soon.

I hit guys at close range with the m4a1 and it seems like it hardly does damage, like i see blood fly off and everythnig. yet i get hit with a pistol or something twice and just drop

All new maps are Conquest Assault, and I actually don't like it. Wish you could choose, because I prefer regular conquest.

Anyone play SQTDM? I hopped in to get the L85A2 not really expecting to like it, but it's legit. 4 squads head to head on a smaller cqc map with only one APC. Teamwork is definitely key.
