mmm after watching the livestreams and everything i have mixed feelings.. no doubt that the mechanics and everything will be dope but its the graphics that are really bugging me, i'm not one to be like graphics over everything but the feel of it is really off. it feels like when they hit theres no effect, it reminds me of LoL a lot, especially how they changed the hp bars to essentially the LoL bars. hopefully they change this little bit and hopefully other people noticed this too because its really bugging me.

also. creeps are huge as fuck, they really got decrease the size.

Graphics look like Team Fortress 2, which reminds me of that shitty game League of Legends. I wish they would have made it look like Heroes of Newerth or Diablo, something more 'mature' along those lines. And not to mention, why are the slots so big? The interface looks so fucking clunky. But the game is gonna be great. Played DotA for a long time and stoked that they are still using the same Unreal Tournament announcer

This type of graphic appeals to alot more people apparantly ,at least games like league of legends and world of warcraft seems to attract shit loads of people.
Anywyas league of legends is a better game all round than heroes of newerth by far. That game was just bad, and the graphics are terrible, so clumsy and bad looking.

i think saying that LoL > HoN will just start a fanboy war, they're both very different games and to call one better than the other is saying apples are better than oranges.

the graphics are apparently getting a reboot, the only thing the producers would say about the change is that there would be a lot more blood and gore. :l they also said the UI would be changed and that the UI the teams were using in the stream was a very primitive one.

Watched the stream all 5 days. Mechanics and general gameplay look great. Keep in mind the spectator ui is probably different from the players ui, and the game will probably support addons and ui mods.

i am not impressed at all by the graphics. they are in-between HoN and LoL graphics, and they sort of resemble team fortress 2. apparently, the engine is the best, but hon and lol play fine with their own engines...

The reason it looks like TF2 is because Valve wanted to upgrade the graphics and spell effects while still making the game accessible for low end computer and game cafes, which is what they did with TF2.
