fuck you. FFX and FFXIII got the same swag and i dont fucking understand how one is so well received and the other one everyone hates. they feel so fucking similar.

and as for Little Big Planet. How the fuck can you not understand the hype? Have you played this game? Theres never been anything like it. It's a design your own sidescroller game. Not to mention LBP2 looks revolutionary with the shit you can do + Playstation Move integration. Shit is ridiculous. Media Molecule was such a good pick up for Sony.

Now we just need to let Naughty Dog make Heavenly Sword 2 <3

I don't think so at all.
It might be because I fucking adore FFX and only somewhat like FFXIII but I think the leveling system in FFX and their many puzzles in the game put it over the top. Else than of course the story is just more like able. I think people were really bummed on how easy FFXIII is compared to other FF's.

Shit play FF3 or something around then. Whenever I play an old Final Fantasy on my DS I get so mad at how hard those old games are...but I keep playing them.

Typo in my post. I meant that any game that makes you do something (ie. playing a guitar) which you should actually be doing in real life.
And Guitar Hero / DJ Hero and related games are overrated, because it's a cheesy game that got so much attention. It let people believe that they could actually do these things, when in reality, you just aren't playing a real instrument.

the 360 version got perfect scores by Edge and Famitsu... and a 90 average on metacritic - i'd say it was well received

whether it was over rated, that's subjective, but i'd say scores were justified

I don't think anyone actually thinks this. People just see it as karaoke but with instruments.

I play guitar and I play kit in real life.
The guitar doesn't mirror actual guitar at all, I'm extremely happy about that. I don't want it to. It doesn't need to. It's a video game. It is cheesy, but that's the point.

However never does the game try to pretend you're playing a real instrument. It's not like you can use star power in real life and your guitar lights up and shit.

Playing a drums on expect is pretty close to playing a real live drum set though.
DJ Hero was eh, refer to my first point.

Because almost all of the big budget games have the shit marketed out of them when they aren't that good. And guess what? Most games with a bigger marketing budget are either generic shooters or music games.

Yea, Little Big Planet is not overrated at all. I never thought it was good, then I played it at a friend's house, and it was awesome. I bought it the next day lol. And everyone I've showed it to/let play it has liked it.

I've played the game many times and never once could I get into it. It looks cool, and the customisation is neat, but the actual gameplay is

Halo 3 for sure. Such a waste of my money. After playing one and a half levels, it just went straight to the bottom of the pile.

FF7, it was a good game. Great game back in its day. But it just annoys the hell out of me to see people worshiping that game like it was the invention of the vagina or something. FF6 would have to be my favorite of all time.
