Point is the old character design was much better and they should've spent time refining the gameplay not modifying what fans already loved. And the music is faggot as fuck.

This might just be an imposter posing as dante. You gotta remember when they showed DMC4 for the first time, people thought Nero was dante till they rectified that. I really think this is just some psychopath posing as dante with replica of ebony and ivory. Also, that sword is unlike anything Dante has ever used and his style is wayyy too feral for him to actually be dante. Capcom is def just keeping their mouth shut.

if it ain't broke don't fix it

the only game that's been really well received since dmc1 is dmc3, because it was a younger, even more badass, even cockier dante. no one wants a typical quiet action hero like dmc2, another mgs2 with dmc4, or some bullshit origin story when he was some emo 15 year old.

4 is alright, I was bummed at how many things they took out for Dante... Plus the backtracking you basically did...

If they include Beowulf like gauntlets, I'll get DMC5 I guess... idgaf.

but this is sicking devil may cry 4 had me amp'd for 5
