This. Except make it San Diego. I don't see why It wouldn't be able to happen. San Andreas is arguably the best of the series.

I doubt it will be San Adreas. It looks like Rockstar is going to have a 3 city rotation.

NYC was already done so next in line would most likely be Vice City and then san Andreas until the next consoles come out sometime around 2016+

Analyst believes GTA V "likely" in 2012

"Janco Partners" analyst Mike Hickey gave some predictions for Take-Two today. Why? Because he believes the publisher will make enough money to remain profitable even if a new GTA doesn't come out during the next fiscal year (April 1 2011 - March 31 2012).

He believes GTA V will sell a lot of copies! I know, it's the strangest thing. Hickey expects the game to sell upward of 16 million copies for a good old $750 million. Take-Two should be just fine with Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire on the way for the next fiscal year. He also thinks BioShock Infinite will be a 2012 title that will sell 4 million copies for $182 million.

An estimate of 41 million Xbox 360s and PS3s by the end of 2010, compared to 14 million units when GTA IV came out in 2008, is apparently one of the reasons for the high estimate. I guess that falls in line with Black Ops selling more than Modern Warfare 2 on day one.

GTA IV was announced at E3 2006, one year before its release. There was no GTA V this E3. So there won't be a GTA V in 2011. And Max Payne 3 without Remedy at the helm might not do as well as this guy predits. Or maybe it will, because it's by Rockstar Vancouver! There you go. Analysis done, now pay me the big bucks.

But the more I think about it, Mexico would be really cool too. But Rockstar (kinda) just did Mexico with Red Dead Redemption. It'd obviously be different, but I dunno if they'd wanna revisit it so soon.

I think they'll stay with the 3 main cities they have but I'd love for that mexico story to happen. From the clues it looks like Vice or San Andreas.

Its was already confirmed that rockstar was doing research on locations in hollywood.
Which can mean it will either be san andreas(los santos) or partly san andreas.
Also DLC will be other cities.

Apparently like on the inside of the Ballad of Gay Tony there are hints. It blatantly states that they aren't going back to Liberty City anymore and they have a small picture of some trees and what looks like a beach. Heres the pic.

san andreas >>> liberty city, and i'm from ny. they didn't do ny right IMO. if you can't do it right then don't do it at all.

them niqqas fucked up wit gta4, that was the first one out of the entire series i legitamately didnt like, apart from the ballad of gay tony, that whole city was a waste

niqqas is tryin to get too realistic and forgetting about the fun, next city to me i think will be vice city, only because it follows the order thats always been laid forth since the very first gtand theft auto on ps1 and because designing miami would be alot quicker than desinging an entire fucking state again with san andreas

unless of course they just focus on 1 city this time and like just focus on las venturas or los santos, that could be cool to

Yeah I'd like them to bring back all of the customization they had on SA even if the story doesn't take place there. It made the game alot more enjoyable and gave you a lot more to do when you beat the story. It seemed like no matter how much you did you never had the game 100% complete. After I beat GTA4 it got old fast.
