I've been waiting for a remake of San Andreas so if they do that I'm good.
November 09, 2010 @ 11:05:09
What about GTA Vegas?
November 09, 2010 @ 11:51:28
vegas doesn't have enough stuff to do I think. A new california or a game in france would be cool like Paris or somewhere else in Europe, maybe the UK since we'd need english

thats why they need to take it back to california. they did new york twice they can do LA twice.

This. Except make it San Diego. I don't see why It wouldn't be able to happen. San Andreas is arguably the best of the series.

I prefer sitting my fat ass in the chair than actually doing work to play a fucking video game.

i'd rather go outside and play an actual sport.

I doubt it will be San Adreas. It looks like Rockstar is going to have a 3 city rotation.

NYC was already done so next in line would most likely be Vice City and then san Andreas until the next consoles come out sometime around 2016+

Yeah but LA sucks compared to NY.

I am certain that Hong Kong is the best option.

Analyst believes GTA V "likely" in 2012

He believes GTA V will sell a lot of copies! I know, it's the strangest thing. Hickey expects the game to sell upward of 16 million copies for a good old $750 million. Take-Two should be just fine with Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire on the way for the next fiscal year. He also thinks BioShock Infinite will be a 2012 title that will sell 4 million copies for $182 million.

An estimate of 41 million Xbox 360s and PS3s by the end of 2010, compared to 14 million units when GTA IV came out in 2008, is apparently one of the reasons for the high estimate. I guess that falls in line with Black Ops selling more than Modern Warfare 2 on day one.

GTA IV was announced at E3 2006, one year before its release. There was no GTA V this E3. So there won't be a GTA V in 2011. And Max Payne 3 without Remedy at the helm might not do as well as this guy predits. Or maybe it will, because it's by Rockstar Vancouver! There you go. Analysis done, now pay me the big bucks.

wut
November 29, 2010 @ 21:02:52
Yeah, wut?

But the more I think about it, Mexico would be really cool too. But Rockstar (kinda) just did Mexico with Red Dead Redemption. It'd obviously be different, but I dunno if they'd wanna revisit it so soon.
November 30, 2010 @ 08:20:40
Nah, the GTA series should just stick to LA, NY, and Miami.

Why though?
November 30, 2010 @ 16:40:13
I think they'll stay with the 3 main cities they have but I'd love for that mexico story to happen. From the clues it looks like Vice or San Andreas.
November 30, 2010 @ 16:46:28
yeah why?

they should do san andreas city again with a continuing story line. san andreas would be sick in HD!
December 01, 2010 @ 16:25:09
Its was already confirmed that rockstar was doing research on locations in hollywood.
Which can mean it will either be san andreas(los santos) or partly san andreas.
Also DLC will be other cities.
