haha pretty much. the older models, arcade and elite are still being sold, but won't get a price cut. they won't be in production anymore either. so this new model is it. they're assuming a new "bare bones" version of the new xbox360 will come out later to fill in the gap.

new info, target document says older models will get $50 price drop. not sure if all other retailers will follow though.

nah *****. 14 months for 35 dollars. If Xbox can get more companies to get their television thing people wont need their cable anymore. 50 dollars for a year of Internet/ TV beats the fuck out of 50 dollars a month for cable/ satellite/ etc etc.


He's right atleast for college students, Fuck home phone or cable, I'll turn all my money over to Xbox Live for TV and Cell phone companies for internet and phone. It'll be way cheaper.

1. New 360 looks ugly.
2. Idea is years late.
3. ps3>360 even though I have a 360. It's cause I got the 360 for hella cheap a while ago so I couldn't pass that offer up.
4. The lifespan of 360 games should be a little longer now since microsoft is making a different type.

so what? I've had internet browsers on mobile phones better than PS3's internet browser (i.e. iPhone/Opera mini)

Fanboys are gay as fuck, I play different consoles for different games, only broke *****S and wack *****S argue which console is the best.

Fall back fam, I had a modded psx, ps2, and never owned an xbox until the 360. I never said XBOX >>> because I don't believe that. PS3 is by far the superior machine as well as having exclusives that that are down right nasty. I owned both a PS3 and 360, chose the 360 because LIVE was and is much better than PSN. I don't care about 50 dollars a year, I don't get server disconnects and LIVE interface is much more user friendly.

Not a myth, I got them quite often playing CoD4.

Also, I like how LIVE has more users using headsets. Contrary to popular belief I hardly run into little kids, I think shit talking is fun(ny), and running with a squad with mics makes the games more enjoyable.

No I mean I got server disconnects on the PS3 while playing CoD4. This was when 4 was the current CoD.
