Purchased a 360 about a lil over a month ago, played Gears 1 and 2, i thought it's an overrated franchise and shouldn't even be compared to the Uncharted franchise. Gears is a GOOD game don't get me wrong but Uncharted shits on it for sure.

Halo on the other hand is pretty epic. Nothing on the ps3 (fps wise) matches the brilliance that is Halo. The campaign made me care about saving earth unlike Killzone where i could've cared less if humanity false into demise.

Another feature 360 has that i thought was cool at first was the party chat. i've been to numerous party chats and it's been really fun but it sways people from talking in game. i really thought since 360s came with mics there'd be more people online talkin in game but i was dead wrong. party chats totally kills mic use in game. party chats is cool if you got a strong group of friends that always game or whatnot but it sucks when you just wanna chat with strangers and make new friends.

all in all, im satisfied with my purchase. i'm enjoying 360 exclusives like gears, halo, l4d2, fable 2, forza 3 and mass effect 1 (played ME2 on my ps3).


dude gears shits on uncharted it's really no competion. I will say uncharted is the best ps3 game but it ain't fucking with gears

lol Uncharted is far beyond Gears in every single way. But as the poster said, that is in no way a shot at Gears. GoW is a great game... but Uncharted is to PS3 what Mario was to SNES.

i would love to say "this" but i cant =[

im a 360 guy and absolutely HATE the ps3 controller. my hands are just way to big for that tiny ass, light ass controller.

i would love to give the Uncharted series a play because i love gaming, but theres no way i would enjoy it with the ps3 controller. and i know i they make aftermarket 360 controllers for the ps3, but none of my friends even have a ps3. lol.

Maybe someday they will offer it on both consoles, but very unlikely.

but the Gears series has been my shit and im very excited for Gears 3.
