If anyone wants to make some money off that toys r us deal buy portal 2 and la noire and then return them to walmart without a receipt. Even though you won't get cash you'll still get a walmart giftcard for about $120.

streaming is ass for high quality videos


I stream HD fine, with no transcoding, through a wired connection. If there is any issue or if I happen to be using wifi, I just wait the few minutes by opting to copy the file onto the PS3 from the media server.

Have any of you ran into a movie torrent that has that new marking or something that doesnt allow the file to be played back on certain hardware, like the PS3??
Some new movies were made with some kind of protection and it cant be burned or copied over to anything, you have to watch it with certain codecs on your pc.. I forget what its called.

I downloaded a Kung-Fu Panda 2 file and when I transferred over to my thumb drive to watch on the PS3, I get that stupid fuckin message!! Is there way to watch it aside from the PC??!

On a side note, I finally started to play Infamous from that free download deal and it seems pretty cool. I like that whole freeworld-exploration vibe, like Grand Theft Auto. I just started, so I have tons to learn.

i went to two different locations and both had signs stating that the "2 for $50 ps3/xbox games" was incorrect on sunday's ad, and that the correct one is "purchase 2 of those titles @ reg price, THEN a $50 gift card"

i tried switching out my hard drive for the first time today, and when i was on the blue screw it was already partially stripped and i made it worse by using the wrong size screwdriver. i swear the screw is made from aluminum or some shit. its impossible to get out now since the head is just a circle. fml sad

man i just finished infamous, cant believe how quickly i played through it! its one of those games you just dont wanna drop down!

i was still a bit confused with the story though, looking forward to infamous 2

also go assassins creed 1 and 2, red dead redemption and the uncharteds. will be a fun mid year break!

Yeah I like Infamous too.. I probably wouldve never bought the game, but since they gave it for free, I'm glad I downloaded it. I'll buy Infamous 2 for sure.
I'm like 2 missions in the on the 2nd island with those white/green looking guys & the fire spider looking machines.. how far am I??

Wtf, lmfao. I purchased the ps3 when that shit first came out for $600, got yellow light after 2 years, sent it in to be refurbished for $149.00 +tax, got yellow light again a year and a half later, sent it in again for a 120 slim version for $149.00 +tax.

No free games or even a controller for their faulty hardware.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't sour as fuck.
