You should set your DMZ to the IP that your PS3 is on. Google directions on how to do it; once you get it done, you should be fine.

not true. psn is just ass for downloading stuff

takes 3/4s less time on XBL to download the same exact thing for me on PSN

PSP Games Coming to PS3 With HD Visuals, Extra Content

Sony today unveiled a new initiative whereby select PlayStation Portable titles will be ported to the PlayStation 3, with improvements made along the way to (hopefully) make the whole thing worthwhile.

It's called the PlayStation Portable Remaster Series, and sees certain PSP games re-released on the PS3 with enhancements like exclusive new content, HD graphics, control pad support, 3D visuals and more.

There's even multiplayer compatibility, with the PS3 versions of the game able to be played over Sony's Ad Hoc multiplayer service for the PSP.

Most interesting, and promising for existing PSP gamers, is that save games for these titles will work on both systems, so you can take the same campaign from PSP to PS3 and back again.

this might make me buy a PSP finally

try following steps for the 5301 or 8301- more than likely it'll be the same process.

@infamous- no hate against the psp. i've got a go myself w/ about 10-15 games. i just think the ds library is stacked w/ a better selection in comparison, but that's beside the point. the news just doesn't do anything for me because i'm busy thinking about how sony is always rehashing shit in hd trying to cash in (again). don't get me wrong- i'm looking forward to ico and colossus in hd, but damn.. can't we get some decent original ip's?

not to mention ngp is less than a year away.

I hacked my PSP and found myself getting a lot more out of it. I personally enjoyed plenty of games on the PSP and I'm pretty hyped to see what games they'll be remastering for the PS3 (KINGDOM HEARTS PLZZZ).

I updated the firmware but when it tells me to change the password it says "This service is currently undergoing maintenance."

is this true for everyone or is there another way of changing your password?

If you haven't tried adjusting the settings of your ports, I'm almost positive that's what is causing you to lag. I personally don't feel like going into detail on how to adjust that, but google something like, "setting DMZ on router."

If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest getting a new router. It's always good to cover all areas before dishing out roughly $60 when you may not need to.
