Honestly that's probably the only way they could slow down/stop piracy. That's what ea implemented for online access and it probably helped

I got my backups working on my PS3:
Ninja Gaiden: Sigma 1 & 2, Castlevania, FIFA 11, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. So far so good..
If Sony starts banning, IDGAF, I got an old school 60gb with support for the PS2 games on side, just suffering from the YLOD, I'll just use that.
Serial keys I guess is one good way to slow down piracy, etc.. but look at all the software available that requires serial keys & registration! How easy is it to get a program like Adobe CS5.. AutoCAD.. ANY game, etc working on your PC?!!

hhmmm.. well im going to install and see if a peer blocker of some sorts will help.
I have read something like changing the ports which torrents use or go through in your router or something like that. If you guys know what im talking about, can you shed some light on that..

You're on their watch list now. Peer block doesn't do shit and actually hurts the torrenting process. The best thing to do is just not download anything relatively new. Studios will usually leak a popular film and track that torrent so anyone that downloads it gets fucked. Your best bet is to sign up for a private tracker as those aren't tracked by studios.

yeah thats where i messed up.. i used a tracker from a site that i dont know or normally use. How does a peer block hurt the process?
I've never had a problem with Pirateb@y, torrentd@y, and demonoid.. im just gonna stick with those. Fuckin TEKKEN 6!!! Fuckin game wasnt even worth the download!!

Don't they sell the consoles at a loss just to get the consoles 'out there,' and rely solely on game and blu-ray sales for profit?
