YES! I'm glad they're going back to the 2D shit. I was a fan of the 3D games (Armageddon, that is) but I always imagined the next MK to be like SF4, crisp next gen graphics with an old school feel.

Pumped for this game.

Had the chance to stand in for the demo during e3.

this vid sums it up:

- "x-ray" super moves that deliver crushing damage and effects, as seen in the vid.
- it seemed to me they tried to become more technical by evolving the gameplay. instead, i saw them borrowing from Tekken's juggle and tag system.
- a lot more visual stimulation by incorporating short cinematics into the gameplay (SF4's super move skits, etc).

I really hope the new MK gets some light from the competitive community. A lot of people look down on MK, but I think this new one has potential. MK @ EVO, too soon?

if this dont have the dan forden 'toasty' or dan forden dlc unlock character,passssssss.

but im hoping for everyone to be playable:
cyrax, stryker, kano, noob saibot, rain, hell even bo' rai cho. just pure full roster with mature gameplay & new fatalities.
