If you cancel your contract now, you will pay $175 minus $5 for every month you have completed. So you will have to pay approximately $130 in ETF. Then you could get sign up as a new customer and pay $199/$299 for the new iPhone and 2-year contract... which would be about $330/$430 total.

So theoretically, canceling your contract and signing a new one will save you $70, but you will not be able to retain your unlimited data plan (assuming you have one) and you risk losing your phone number. Plus it may be more of a hassle.

will you receive the preordered one the same date it is released? or is that when it ships?

just like previous years... when you preorder, the phone will deliver to your door on release day. the only time you wont get it on release day is if they sell out of preorders like they did last year (and even then , they will tell you before you confirm your order)

you can even preorder at the Apple Store and AT&T and do a instore pickup. i woul rather have it delivered to me to avoid crowds(if any)

yeah itll be at your door on june 24th. but i fuckin hate UPS(dont trust those fuckers) so im pickin that shit up either at at&t or best buy.

and fyi best buy, walmart, radioshack, apple and at&t are all gonna have it on launch day so i wouldnt even trip if you dont feel like pre ordering
