My phone froze up today. Was scrolling through my contacts and all of a sudden my home button didn't work. I think it's time for a restore.

i ran a jailbreak on mine and ended up restoring the same day. The phone doesnt run as well when jailbroken and there isnt enough features to make me want to jailbreak. I had my original iphone jailbroken but thats because you couldnt do shit with it. With the 4 pretty much everything is available.

2 hours of usage and it's down to 72%? that's OD son. Is your brightness jacked up? downloading apps over 3G? youtube?

Also, try draining your battery to 0%

Yeah word. I definitely realized that when I experienced a ton of lag on my phone. I'm not big on games and shit, and it's not like j have a bunch of apps, so I'm restoring my shit once I get home.

nope my brightness is below half. i haven't downloaded shit. just a lil web browsing and texting. and like 3-4 phone calls, but all of em add up to an hour of talk. yea i'm not gonna charge it till it dies. it's at like 59% right now. 9 min youtube vid. if update will it help my battery life?

^Restore your phone from new. Just make sure you have your important data (contacts, etc) saved/backed up somewhere.

My battery on my i4 is without a doubt better than my 3GS, but it's not as good as it can be. Pretty sure it's because when I got it I restored from a backup from my 3GS. They say when you do that you're bringing over problems from your old phone onto your new one.

has anyone downloaded frash(flash for iphone) yet?
it only works for advertisements...but its pretty cool. i'm hopeful it'll work for games, websites etc. ahha

I put Frash on my iPhone 4. I wish it was out of beta or I think it was alpha so I can play flash players and all of that. And I just ordered a iSkin Duo so i'mma tell y'all if it's a good case to rock or not.

my iPhone 3Gs broke recently (mic, can't hear myself on calls) and I need to replace it. I'm gazelling it online and i got $100 for it, should I use that to rebuy the 3Gs or just say fuck it and buy the 4 even though I'd have to play that bitch of a 'early upgrade' fee?

the 16gb, I might wait till feb when i can re-up with a new contract. plus none of my friends have the 4 yet anyway, so i couldn't fully utilize the facetime.

Yea iggy it does but im saying i switched between those frequently mainly airplane on the first night and the second night when i was at 11% at a party.
I really didnt see the difference in battery either when i switched from 3g to edge, and i only web browsed had about a hour and 15 minutes of call time between 5-6 calls, texted alot, and checked my settings, took a couple pictures, but no apps at all because someone hacked my itunes and i owe $16 so im waiting for them to refund so i can use the app store again.
So with all that in mind, is that good? should i restore still?
