Apple already said they will waive all fees if people returned the iphone 4. i dont see how people are not returning them if the problem was THAT bad.

So ATT finally got my iphone that i ordered two weeks ago. Now my issue, I just saw the samsung captivate in person and it was pretty damn amazing, and it runs the andriod OS and had an HD screen. I have been rocking an Iphone for about 4 years so I am getting pretty bored of its features, and looks. The only reason I would upgrade to another iphone is because of its hd videos, faster processor. Thats pretty much it for me, i am sure there are other great things to do with an iphone, plus with all the signal issues going on with it i am still not completely sold on it. So thats why I am leaning towards the captivate.
Has anyone else seen the samsung captivate? What would you select between the two and why?

Yes, no way there will be a full recall. Apple will "fix" it with a software update, that will probably break something else on your new iPhone 4, like the Farmville app.

I stuck with my 3GS. I'm happy with it, waiting until next year to purchase a new phone.

I wouldn't be on at&t if I didn't have an iPhone, I'd go with the HTC Evo despite the size, and I know that doesn't really answer your question

Apple needs to fix some shit.. They are always worried about putting products out to fast, they miss the small important things.. Like 4.0 on 3gs laggs like crazy.. Its pissing me off, cause it takes forever to text and open apps.. Cant use my iphone 4 til the come out with the unlock for it, which should be in a couple weeks according to dev..

* also Apple will never admit there is a full problem with their products... "Their is always a fix" for everything they put out.. For the grip problem, they are offering free cases for it now, so people dont return it..

Well Apple is offering a full refund to anybody who bought it, or a free case so it's not like anyone is getting screwed.

I'm still trying to decide between iPhone 4 and Blackberry Bold 9700.

Oh yeah, and iPhone release is July 30th in Canada + other countries.

people arent stupid. if they are dropping calls by holding the phone a certain way, they would be a moron not to return their phone. but people are blowing this so called problem up. with the phone been out for a month now... there were more 3GS returns then there were iphone 4 return in the same amount of time from each release.

That intenna bs is so blown out of proportion. Haven't had any issues at all with mine (knock on wood). only .55% of people have had that problem. Very slim.

yeahh bro, mines the same way now. its a common problem with the 3Gs once you update to iOS 4. i managed to downgrade mine back to 3.1.3 and now it runs smoother.
