Apple is trying to say that the reception bars have been off on all of their iPhones they've ever made. Saying that when it shows 3 bars, you would have 5 on some other phones. Sounds like a bullshit cover up for reception issue. They said for the software update theyre going to adjust it so its correct. So basically it will still drop calls like a mother fucker, but while you have 3 bars. ha.. oh apple.

Apple is saying that if you are experiencing dropped calls from the grip of death, you are in an area with poor service. When the update comes out, instead of displaying 4-5 bars of fake signal strength like it is now, it will then display the accurate strength, which is more like 2-3 bars.

One thing has been bothering me about the facetime commercial. The deaf guy was in the military. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you in the military if you can't hear. Even in some kind of radar job you'd be pretty handicapped because if shit was going down I don't think they'd have time to sign an order to you.

the deaf guy at the end? I watched the commercial again and i'm almost sure the deaf guy isn't the same guy as the one in the military. i know the guy's white and talking to an asian girl in both scenes but they weren't actually the same person. both the women and the males look different (albeit slightly). you can also tell the women are different by their teeth lol

Not true. He may have a partial upgrade available right now. You'll have to pay 399/16gb or 499/32gb instead of 199/16gb and 299/gb. That's still better than the full price of 599/16gb and 749/32gb. That's what I did and just sold my 3GS to knock some of the price down.

this is bullshit. i have a gay proximity sensor. my calls hang up and get muted all the time just thru my cheek.plus my home button is loose. my fucking genius was a little bitch and "couldn't recreate" the problems.

looks like the reception problem won't be fixed anytime soon. either get a case or wait until iPhone 5 / get another phone.

I've not had any problems with antenna/bar drops/proximity sensor/green blotch on pics/etc, but maybe I just got lucky. I LOVE the way it records live music though. The video is just about the same as my $300 digital camera, but the sound comes out 100x better. As far as cases go, I've just got a bumper and Zagg on it, but I want to grab a Speck Candyshell, if I ever find an AT&T store that actually has it in stock...

My phone works just fine cool. I can't wait till some cases come out though. I'm using a bullshit silicone skin I got from radio shack for the time being. I bought the griffin reveal but it fit kind of loose so I returned it.

The capped data wont be for long ATT is working on it plus it doesnt affect my city. IMO Apple shouldnt have put out a phone that has a problem of where you hold it they had to know, they used prototypes.

lol I'm lefthanded and the phone works fine. I think the whole reception thing got blown out of proportion.
