hey, this topic looks a little dead haha. but anyways, i'm planning on copping an excellent condition 16gb white 3G for $250... is that a good price?? also, i plan to use this phone on tmobile. my question is -if it's firmware is 3.1.3, will i be able to unlock it? i'm getting mixed answers from google so i'm not really sure.

i would really appreciate you guys input. thanks

yes, very easy.
250 is whatever i bought a 3G 16GB for that much.
Just flipped it for 260 and bought a 3GS for 275.
It's so much faster than the 3G. Games are smoother. Wayy more memory.

Got a black iPhone 3GS 32gb. It's jailbroken, can probably unlock it if you need to. You can get paid apps for free since it's jailbroken. Shit's flawless, always kept a case on it. I'll throw in the case to. It's a white incase slider. Still got original box and cables.

Me too. I tried to fix my cracked screen myself and fucked up my earpiece. The guys at the genius bar said they wouldn't fix it so I'd just have to buy a new one for 200. I'll just put that toward a 4 but I didn't pre-order so I guess I'll be camping.

How long you guys plan to camp for?

My store opens at 7 but I think ima just go in around 8.. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long since I already pre-ordered. My boy who works at Apple said there's going to be 80 people on staff that day. Keep in mind this store isn't really that big, yet it's one of the most popular Apple stores in America. June 24 is going to be chaos to say the least.

if you live in California or two other states (forgot whIch ones), you are paying tax for the full $599/$699. doesn't matter if you qualified for the $199/$299 early upgrade or the $399/$499 higher priced upgrade.
