I remember reading an article (no link) about the iphone being exclusive to att&t but not for much longer. In japan iphones are able to be used on any company. But I heard here in the states they have a contract with att&t till 2011. But theyre supposed to make an announcment on june 22nd.

Dstyles, is your phone unlocked? Before I accidentally 'upgraded' firmware/baseband, I had my 3GS unlocked and it would constantly lose bars, display Rogers in the status bar(I'm with Fido), drop calls and drop to edge all the time. It was definitely the unlocking, because it worked perfectly with the stock OS and now with just a JB.

No is not unlocked. Not having the problem anymore though.

The bad thing for At&t customers who buy will no longer have unlimited Data plan... At&t has announced that the data plan has changed for this and you will have to pay by MB's and GB's...

This is good for me, I didn't need unlimited data and 30$ a month is bonkers, I'll probably go with the 200MB plan.
