i never really understood how this game worked since i never played it. how do these air combos work? can air combos be achieved by randomly mashing buttons or are there specific inputs? and do each character have different inputs for air combos? is there a moves list that shows you the inputs or something like in street fighter?

Randomly mashing, No, Sometimes its included in the book...however for the most part its all trial and error unless you want to go online and look it up...

down Y, jump and hit. 2 hit air combo for you right there. just google that list, you'll find the list.

when your good, you can do 10 or more air combo or even special after air combo.
