I honestly had to re-read your post when you said,"I realize this isn't a CAPCOM game." Really? I'm pretty sure it is a Capcom game since it's company is in the title... "Marvel vs Capcom 3." Like what was also said previously, putting in new characters from other titles means giving them the spotlight instead of keeping the same old roster. If you want the old roster why not play the old game?

Not really, basically marvel dictates to capcom who they can and cant use for marvel chars. From what I've read we wont even be getting cyclops even though capcom specifically asked for him. Same goes for fantatic 4 thast why they put superskrull in (also cause the whole recent secret invasion storyline) another character that was turned down which I was really hoping for, which marvel actually suggested was the punisher but then capcom came back and said no because they thought he would be too similiar to chris from re5 what with all the guns and whatnot. You can hold out for your fav chars to be dlc but even then the rosters pretty big right now so i dont expect them to release too many new chars later...
Are Sentinel and hsien-ko the last two characters?
