why?

i still don't understand why ppl want clones. ken, ryu, evil ryu, shin akuma, akuma, evil sakura, sakura, morrigan, lilith, cyber akuma, true shin evil hyper akuma, orochi ryu ken slash akuma hyphen sakura, etc.

they all play alike. "but evil ryu has PURPLE FLAMES!!"

IMO we could have characters like nightcrawler or quicksilver, strife, omega red (again), dhalsim, hugo, ibuki, yun, ryu from breath of fire, norimaro (again), charlie or guile, blanka, etc. that would be a lil better than having yet another shoto clone. guess i'm the only one that feels that way, tho.

well Ryu and Ken aren't clones. they play a little differently. i dont think it's just about money in the decision to leave Ken out (if they are indeed leaving him out). if they were gonna do that, then they should have just made everyone as DLC. then you could make your roster as big as youre willing to pay.

You guys are taking what he's talking about to literal... by clones he doesn't mean EXACT same.
Still idgaf I'm happy Ken isn't in the roster as of now because people are gonna OD on him and its just going to turn into another Super Ken Fighter 4.

They aren't really clones. They play similar but have very unique differences. Shin akuma, Evil Ryu those are clones but Ken, Ryu, Akuma, Sakura, Dan etc are not. The have different moves, finisher, combos if that's a clone then fuck idk what a clone is.

looks like it's going to be like tatsunoku vs. capcom... and i really wish it isn't because they really dumbed down the controls for that game which made it into a button-smasher... which is good for kids, but sucks for people who actually know how to play the game.

Rumor: Art reveals two more Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 fighters

A lot of aspects of this story are shaky. For one, the artist behind this artwork (Kevin Sharpe) has not been officially announced to be the artist for the forthcoming Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 comic book tie-in. For all we know, this is just extremely well do fan art. Secondly, even if this art if "for real", that doesn't mean that every character in the comic will be a playable character in the game. For instance, there is a table in that pic with the Taskmaster. Does that mean that a table is going to be a playable character in Marvel Vs. Capcom 3? How about that chair, and the big "D" painting? Are they all going to be playable too?

That said, I'm guessing that these character reveals might be legit. I have it on a good authority that the most recent Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 roster rumors were mostly legit, and those rumors included Taskmaster and Galactus. Here's hoping, as they are both pretty badass
