got this game yesterday. it is good. i very good balance of halo (which i fucking hate) and call of duty. this game is popeyes recommended. get it son. you wont be disappointed.

i got both.. i perfere crysis 2 over k3.. crysis is just more fun and more dymanic. i was sick of the mp in k3 the first day.

Thanks for the input guys. I've had KZ2 from release and I wasn't the biggest fan of the MP. Too chaotic, too much spawn camping, and too really poor matchmaking in my opinion; but I've read KZ3 fixed a lot of that. I was also a big fan of Halo type mp, and I read crysis 2 resembles that in some ways...

IMO.. I'm on Killzones dick.. but Crysis 2 multiplayer is incredible. I have both and I see myself playing Crysis a lot more in the near future. KZ3 simply doesnt have enough variety in weapons/equipment, and the gameplay is slower.

the lag in this game is becoming fucking atrocious. literally the running animation seems like the guy just teleports 2 feet at a time, i cannot even keep my cross hair on an enemy because you cant see them move when they sprint. if they dont fix this im selling my copy on ebay.

On balance, 360 has the edge in terms of visuals and general performance, but PS3 more than holds its own, bettering the Microsoft platform in some areas.

According to a German website (and now confirmed by Crytek), DirectX 11 support is being patched in as of tomorrow, along with a new “Advanced Graphics menu” for those who like to tweak the special effects for maximum performance.

Crysis 2 did a pretty amazing job of showing us what is still possible in DirectX9, but lets face it, if your GPU supports tessellation, you’re probably an enthusiast who isn’t known for being particularly reasonable about your demands, and that’s why we love you!

If you were looking for a DirectX 11 killer app this just might be it. You can call it a console port if you like, but this latest update will ensure Crysis 2 will be making PC’s across the globe groan for years to come.

360 fanboys are saying Crysis 2 = best console graphics ever. is this true? I cant imagine a multiplatform looking better than Uncharted 2 or God of War 3.

God of War 3, Killzone 2 and 3 ,and possibly Ace Combat 6 are the best graphics on consoles in my opinion.

I got this for my comp and i can honestly say i would have rather spent my money on another game. To me.. If you can imagine Halo but playing MW2 BlackOps.. you get Crysis 2. My friend got it for and it SUCKS! SO yeah im not impressed and i never even played Crysis 1.
