OMG! <3 i might get a PS3 if this follows socom 2 formula of no vehicles and 16 player max. Socom 3 failed hard because they put vehicles in it and made it 32 players maps were way to fucking big.

WOW wtf 32 players again? dont these people realize? Look at any REAL succesful multiplayer game, its always 16 or under less is better IDC. Socom 3 sucked so bad and everyone knew it cuz it was 32 people and had vehicles. Vehicles are stupid. Everyone wanted the Socom 2 feel again and they don't listen to the people. Vehicles are stupid end of story ruin any multiplayer game. Less people the better.

Yeah but its not going to be as good as socom 2 because the maps are desinged big i know they block shit off to make the map smaller but the maps arent good when there designed for large groups and vehicles in multiplayer games are never good IMO never played 1 game with vehicles. Halo 2 had them but I never got in macthes with vehicles they were mainly on larger maps.

i am happy this is coming out because the current games (MW2, MAG, and BF:BC2) are not going to cut it. MW2 i hate the maps for the most part, MAG is better to play as its more fun, and BC2 is just bad.

Slant six did a horrible job with the franchise...So Zipper took it back over. There was so many things wrong with confrontation but socom addicts played it anyway...

As many faults as confrontation had. It still hooked me due to their being nothing else offered in the third person tactical genre. Zipper always comes correct. MAG was legit...It even started out as part of the Socom franchise - as MAG:Socom

they say MAG was 256 players but they cheated. In the gamemode with 256 you never really saw a GIGANTIC battle they had 4 groups spawning at different areas where you could never interact other then talking over mics with them. i felt like it was false advertisement :\

This. I ran with a bunch of West Coast Clan's back in the day. If this gets decent reviews ill consider picking up a Ps3 again and playing. Confrontation lost all of my faith though

Zipper didnt make Socom: Confrontation though, that game was destined to be a fuck up. Its only purpose was to get microphones into the homes of PS3 users.

fuck it though. as long as they got that multiplayer on lock.
