word of advice: stop listening to everything they say on head-fi.

TMA-1's are nice on bass, mids are slightly recessed and the highs are just lacking. sound is pretty muffled imo, it lacks clarity.

I would like to know too, these sony headphones aren't cutting it since the cord is mad short.

ETA: Ordered sennheiser cx-300 ii since I'm on a tight budget, hopefully they'll last me for a while.

Just bought myself a new pair of IEM's for the gym & my iPod.

Decided to go with the Klipsch Image S4. I was in a debate between those or the Monster Turbines but Image S4's seem to have a pretty damn good reputation.

my budget is around 200 bucks. i'm considering bose around ear or the quietcomfort.

the marshall HEADPHONES (there are earphones as well) have clear high and mids while the lows are lacking. so good for rock, electronic and that ish. not for bassheads.

cx-300s were the IEM of choice back in the day. and they're still pretty good even with the slight down grade on the quality.

planning on getting one made, probably go through it around summer once i have more time to work after im done with my semester.

Any other vinyl junkies? What turntables/cartridges are you guys using? Right now I just have by technics 1200s for DJ'ing and a vestax portable but I'm looking to get either a Rega or Music Hall for listening and archiving.

turtle beaches are good if your just a casual gamer

tritons if you're all hardcore gamer and shit lololol but they usually run 150+ if thats too much for your budget.

real talk, when it comes to gaming sets, COMFORT is what you're gunna be lookin for. not just sound quality and noise cancellation.

when it comes to comfort and sound i really dont care how it looks like. been doing that with almost every set of cans I own. from grados, technics, panas, to sonys.

but i think ill settle for the xb500s. ive read a few reviews that after burn in, the ATH WS70s just didnt seem to live up to its hype.

Ordered a pair of Creative Aurvana Lives for $60. Not bad for a re-branded Denon D1001 (same drivers and almost identical casing). Also ordered some MEElectronics IEMS for portable use. Just the $10 M2s, I usually lose or mess up my earphones since I pretty much use them for when I'm out, on campus, or working out.

I returned my beats and got these, BEST DECISION EVER! I saved a $120 and these sound sooo much better. the difference is night and day! I will say however that these are very accurate headphones so you will hear everything which is not always a good thing lol. I can hear dre whispering shit to em throughout the marshal mathers LP lolol. Also being that these headphones are of studio quality and accuracy, dont expect any sort of bass boost or anything like that.

man I wish they made Koss Portapros how they used to. The sound is pretty much still there but they feel really cheap now. Also, why are PX100's so much now?
