Sorry for interrupting this, but as for audiophiles, I consider myself one. And if he is going to be spending $200 on those, why not get a better pair? For instance AKG K 242. That is only naming one pair, in-ears are also a great investment.

Also, I am getting my JH-13's soon! I am that person that spends money on headphones, but I sold everything of mine to get them xD.

Wouldn't say I'm audiophile, but there's only few things that I hate more than good music being ruined by bad equipment.

In Ears: Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 EB, they need a good amount of customization w/ equalizers but it's worth the trouble. Pretty much useless if your device has no equalizer.

Plus, I own a 1978 NIKKO STA 8080 Receiver with a pair of Heco Cantata Superior 550. The receiver rocks, it heats up like crazy, there's no remote or anything and it's really annoying to buy adapters for Chinch cables and stuff, but the clear sound is awesome. The speakers are good, too. Got them from my father, he could get his hands on a pair of 1977 Bose 601 Series 1... jeez, I want those.

Umm honestly, not the greatest. In fact fairly terrible IMO. If you absolutely must get "Beats" headphones just stick with the original "Studio" ones. I played with my friend's solo's and they are so muddy it's ridiculous, it's all low end. Mids and Highs are pretty much washed out.

Thought so from what I've read in reviews and stuff. What the Bose? I'm trying to look for a decent pair of headphones after countless pairs of the apple ones razz

studio speakers are built for a clean cut sound, so producers can have more control on the actual output.
