Im really surprised there isnt a thread on this game, it looks really dope, it received 9/10 in the first review and was compared to zelda and imo it's the second best hack n slash game releasing next year after gow ( bayonetta and di are rentals for me )

i have been following this game for a while now and was gonna make a thread lol

I am excited about this one, Wrath looks badass and its has a good story

This would more likely be a rent for me, and i think it comes out Jan 5

first quarter for next year is going to be epic for slasher action fans

for me: bayonetta > gow3 > darksiders > dante's inferno
and i'ma have to cop all of them too >.<

the combos system in this game looks pretty good too

Game Informer has given Darksiders an 8.5 out of 10.

Picked the game yesterday, its a combination of both zelda and GOW but in a good way.

I love the art design, the story is kind of meh but am over that. A few frame rate issues when fighing bosses which kind of sucks.

i would say it is better than Dante's Inferno, and this is coming from what i got out of playing the demo. I just didn't like it lol. There is so much more content and exploration in darksiders.

War > Dante any day.

I can't say anything about bayonetta because there are completely different game-play wise. darksiders has alot of puzzles and bayonetta is just straight up action plus i am looking forward to playing it after this.

I rented Darksiders because i wanted to beat it in a week then get bayonetta next week, juggling 3 games right now and i want to beat them all before the semester starts.

Just beat it, good game overall but longer that i expected.

Of course there would be a sequel.

Sorry, but I thought this game was only okay. Rave early reviews probably hyped my expectations too much. I'm digging Bayonetta WAY more.

Other people picked on the fact the story REALLY blows. Dissappointing considering how big of a MAD! fan I am.

agreed..
i played 20mins and getting bored.
bayonetta is the best act game 09 no doubt ..im in asia,it was released 2 monthes earlier than the us verson..
