what are the advantages of getting a MBA over a 13" MBP other than its a little smaller and lighter?

Is the SSD really worth the extra few nano seconds of load time and less than half the amount of memory?

Its not nano seconds. There is an extreme difference between SSD and HDD. lemme see an HDD do this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS2ZipMM2Oo

there's also no moving parts in an SSD so it will have a longer lifespan then a regular hard drive.

really depends on what you do

internet, listening to music and chatting won't see much difference

but if you doing photo and video editing, it will be worth it

My Pro has stickers all around. You should be fine depending on the type of sticker. If it's "paper" sticker forget it, because the residue it leaves will be a bitch to come off.

If it's a vinyl sticker, it will not leave any residue (usually).

Even though it will make you a dick in the torrenting world, if you're extra nervous about getting caught, after you're done the download...don't seed.

Also if you plan on like mass torrenting, perhaps invest in a VPN.

i only download from demonoid and it's pretty safe. TPB is open and anyone can upload a torrent so there's more viruses there but the mac programs almost never have them. ive also been torrenting nonstop since like 2008 and have never gotten a letter to my knowledge knock on wood.

Hey,

I got a problem, appreciate inputs.

To make a long story short: I was struggling with playing an mpg file (movie) with my Quicktime X, so I decided to download another player. It still didn't work, so I was like fuck it- and deleted the player. I don't know what happened but I managed to delete the X as well (at least I can't find it anywhere). I know I'd be good if I had the disc that came with the Mac, to reinstall , but I lost it.

What to do ?
