Itunes help
i did the most recent itunes update and it basically un-synched my itunes library with the actual application. When i open itunes, none of my songs show up and all the playlists are gone. I still have the original files, but i have so many songs its unfeasible for me to import them folder by folder.

Is it possible for me to mass-sync those files to itunes?

i assume you're a windows user? i would download senuti or a cracked tuneaid to transfer from your pod; then you'll have to format it for osx.

just picked up my 13" mbp today.
Pretty dope, I know viruses are less probable on macs, but is anyone running some kind of antivirus software on their mac?

Just wondering if I should drop a little more on software or will I be just fine without it?

nah b, i actually knew that before I bought it today after lurking this thread every now and then.
Not really a technology geek, just needed a new comp asap cause my old laptop is acting up on me + i'm in school.

Honestly, I could care less about having the latest everything when it comes gizmos and gadgets. Idk, that's just me.

@calintz, thanks for the input bro.

Yeah just be sure you know where you're getting things from. If you REALLY need a antivirus though use iAntiVirus, it's free.

That's been like that more months. When Supra asked the first time about Macs it said a product update was coming soon and that was like a month ago.

Bad info, although it may not be required like on a Windows pc. You should have some kind of virus protection software, we all download music from mediafire links, porn from megaupload, torrents from piratebay etc... those files could easily have nasty shit on there.

And yes, Macs do get viruses, look up dns changer mac.

i don't even use a antivirus on my windows pc, and i've never had a virus - just have to be smart on where you get your shit

just saying, given the chances of getting a virus on a mac, its not worth the money on antivirus software

Well, for one you have to be invited to demonoid but yes there are much safer alternatives then the Piratebay. I'm not promoting TPB. It's just the most popular so I referenced it.

I'm glad, it doesn't mean it can't happen.

It's not very rare, it's a growing problem. That's why Apple is starting to put virus protection in their software.

I don't use virus protection on my windows portion either, not because I'm "safe" with the internet but because I don't mind just reinstalling it. I do however mind if I have to reinstall Mac OSX.

If you guys don't want antivirus software then don't get it, but don't tell people viruses on macs don't exist, that's terrible advice.

Edit: I just read you said it's not worth the money, this is HB. We spend money on so many things that aren't "needed". Smh
