how do i put movies on my iphone?

can i download them thru limewire and then put them on there or do they have to be
downloaded from somewhere else?

btw i have the iphone 3g S.... if that makes a difference

they have to be on itunes, so you can sync them.

But you wouldn't you need to converter it to a special format? Like mp4 like a normal Ipod? I not sure about the Iphone but other phones do.

Itunes doesn't have a video converter, it has a music converter tho.

And to the thread maker, you just need to converter the video to Mp4 files or avi. You could download a free Iphone converter, but be careful. Most of them contain viruses.

yep movies have to be converted - or you have got a "hacked" iphone than its different but when official as most ppl you have to conver it but simple way is to get the movie from the itunes store.. good quality etc.

just make sure wherever you're getting your movies from it says ipod ready or something in the filename/readme. if you use torrents most search engines have a dedicated ipod section

they probably have to be a certain file type. you can download a converter but oftentimes it messes up the sync between the audio and video
