just saw another preview on ign for this game...and i must say..the anticipation is killing me, the original mass effect is one of the best games i have ever played.

after playing dragon age origins, it makes me want Mass Effect 2 even more. Seems like every rpg bioware does, it just keeps getting better. Loved the first one as well, but wasn't as amazing as DA.

sandbox game?

nah, its mission based, with your ship being a central hub

there are story points you can do and finish within 10hours, or you can explore areas and get side missions, like most rpgs, and fly your ship to these extra areas
