Original Clark Desert Boots

December 18, 2008 @ 12:25:15
I BELIEVE it's through the holidays, but your best bet is to call up the Clarks closest to you to find out...

I also think that if you buy another pair of whatever, that pair will be either 20 or 30% off. I forgot the exact percentage, but its a good deal nonetheless.

I was at my local Clark's yesterday and saw no such sale.
December 18, 2008 @ 14:55:45
The sale must have ended then. I bought a pair during Thanksgiving week.

Either way, desert boots are worth the retail.

December 22, 2008 @ 00:59:18
That's a pretty decent price.

Around here, I only see them for around 80-90. smh

In Canada they are $130 plus 15% taxes....
December 22, 2008 @ 17:47:17
Anyone know where to find the Clarks Point Taken Desert boot in the US? I can only find them online from european retailers that'll set me back $175.

has anyone taken off the heel at home or are you taking them to a shop?
December 26, 2008 @ 15:07:47
the member in here said he did it himself w/ a hacksaw or some shit

theres some shoe repair guy at my local mall that said he would do it for a few bucks for me

just finished taking off the heel on one of my shoes, almost done with the other one. it was definitely harder than i expected. i wouldn't recommend it unless you have some good cutting tools.

Which are more comfortable, wallys or desert boots?
December 29, 2008 @ 19:35:42
Wallys, by far.

For DB's, size down 1/2 sz.
Wallys, 1 sz. down.

Does anyone know how the crepe sole fares in the snow/ice? Either way, I'm most likely gonna cop a pair, but I just wanted to know if it'll survive the Canadian winter tongueface

I just want to clarify sizing down. Being made in the UK, the sizes of the shoes are already one size smaller (eg. UK 9.5 = US 10.5). If I wear a 10.5 in most shoes, does that mean I should size down an additional half size? Would I buy a UK 9.5 or a UK 9?
