I noticed, but there are way too many and discussion is thrown all over the place.

I was hoping since I put 'Official' in the thread name that this would be more official than the others...hahaha

Does no one have any opinions on boat shoes to share? Please?

Even if it was posted before could we get all of it here, I'd like to try and create a thread to compile all the boat shoe information.

Some discussion maybe? What do you guys think of those pseudo-boat shoes like the Vans model.

boat shoes go hard. I rock my topsiders on the regular during the summer. they're not that comfortable for lots of walking though... and I don't really get down with the del barcos

Their really good for like walking on pavement I think, but if you are walking on dirt, or mud it's super shitty.

And yeah long distances suck too.

Del Barcos are ew. I have to admit though, my first boat shoe was the Sperry's Bahamas, which aren't real boat shoes.

Haha, what's wrong with boat shoes?

Anyway, could we start up some posts of fit pics and stuff so we could see how people are rocking them?

Or just pics of different boat shoes? I'm a little tired of just seeing the boat shoes from sperry and the pseudoboatshoes from VANS and stuff.

More of the shit like Proper x Vans boat shoes.

Does anyone know of creative boat shoes? Please share.

boat shoes go hard.

LOL. They're dope but I'm pretty sure boat shoes don't go hard. they're meant for the opposite.

Rogues Gallery's Deck boots DO go hard though, so maybe you're onto something:

No offense but those boat shoes look a bit like sneaks?

Ironically I've never tried boat shoes on a boat.

Do they actually let the water out like they look like they do? Haha.

A polo, shorts, boat shoes, no socks all summer long, but I don't wear them much during this time of the year. Although I do sometimes, since florida only has two seasons rainy and dry.

Could we get some fit pics anyone?

Also, if you guys wear denim/long pants with them how do you rock them?

I wear my denim without cuffing it, which is apparently against tradition...

But I think it looks better uncuffed.

I've never worn mine with denim, sometimes I'll rock them with some chinos and no socks though.

And how do they fit compared to other boat shoes you have? If any? Hopefully Sperrys[since that's what I have, haha]

Thanks!

I recently went shopping at an outlet and I found a pair of creative recreations on sale.

I've never owned a pair before because the price always drove me away, but I found a pair of Lucky Lucianos[the weird boat shoe-ish one] for 30 dollars! Marked down from 90! So I figured I'd give them a try.

So I'm not sure yet if I should wear them with socks or not? But I am wearing them with socks for a bit at least because the leather is really stiff and needs some breaking in.

If anyone wants fit pics I can post some up.

Actually I think for real boat shoes for sure sperry or visvim are the best pick,
but I think the zapato del barco from vans is pretty nice model, it's personnaly one of my favorite.

the thing i like about the vans model is that they have a black color way, though untraditional, they actually look rather good. and pretty nice if you want to make them dressed up but still casual.
