I want those Chukka style boots that were posted on the HB page but is it only HUF that is getting them or will they be available at other retailers as well?

Ugliest hype so far.

They look good when worn properly IMO. Boots are really comfortable to wear haha. And 6" timbo or Vasque boot hood hype of years past is way uglier.

I agree. When worn properly, these boots turn heads in a good way.

An appreciation for classic American work wear and style...
the same aesthetic is in Japanese selvage repros of levis and lee jeans, leather goods and jackets, as well as other pieces of American work wear...
If you don't see the appeal in these boot, obviously the quality and beauty of the shoes silhouettes go right over your head razz

Snagging a pair of GT soon... Anyone recommend a good site to buy from? Or maybe retail is better?

Um, http:Zappos has a nice return policy if you're not exactly sure what size you are so id try that if there is no way to try them on in person, but seriously there are tons of sites selling these shoes for much cheaper than retail, i dont know of any off the top of my head but if there are sales that i find i will post them up in here no doubt smile

Iron Rangers are AMAZINGLY comfortable... tried on a pair last time i was in David Z's the cork inlay is bliss on your feet &) i need to scoop me up a pair of these, theyre slimmer than the GT and have a more rugged look to them, but I love the versatility of the GT's, but yea def gotta scoop me a pair of the Hawthorne IRs, there are a few pairs going for relatively cheap on ebay (plus the cashback and theyll be even cheaper cool )

love this shoes
hi,

i am very proud of my two weeks old iron rangers. they are very comfortable to wear, they arent as big as for example 8138 on my feet, next step will be a pair of GT or the worker boots 9111, color copper - maybe someone can tell me a good/cheap internetshop in europe ?!

i have bought this pair in germany/frankfurt in the one and only official red wing store in europe for 269

I'd buy these in a heartbeat if they had it in black. I already have a brown pair of buttero work boots, so yeah.
