Vans hasn't put out all purple authentics in quite some time unfortunately. I know the member Diane has a pair and they are pretty old.

^exactly, early 90s was the last time they made them i believe. only small sizes show up every now and then.

From what I recall, the canvas was purple, and the midsole was white. I could be wrong.

They are plum not purple....... I believe. I saw them at Dominion in richmond and I think they were suede. Not exactly sure.

No one's forcing you to do shit. Urban Outfitters has been the spot to go to for GR Vans for quite some time now. When people were paying close to a bill for all red authentics, UO was slangin' them for $40. I guess all the beasts were too scared to go in there.

First of all, its my opinion, second of all, I don't like Urban Outfitters at all, but if they have something I want, I'll get it.

Obviously, if Urban Outfitters or (UO for nerds) is the only one releasing the purple authentics, and I want them, I will be FORCED to go there.
