I've been wanting to know too.

Can anyone compare the size to chucks, vans, nike, or whatever?

from personal experience i have always sized down 1 full size from my vans size or 1.5 sizes down from my nike size. I've owned 3 pairs of desert boots and this has always worked.

Id agree with superbuick3 that they run big. I wear 9 in vans, but I just had to exchange my size 8 clarks for 7.5. At 8, there was at least an inch of extra space, so hopefully, 7.5 will work out. (Ordered them online)

wait, im pretty ight with sizes, since serbia aint got much to chose from, so the one i can fit in is the one i wear. im an 11.5 at best in nikes [n most of my other sneakers], but im ight with an 11 or 12. which should i order at best? 44.5? 44?

I got size us 9 in all shoes I own (adidas, Nike SB, Vans) and tried 8 and 8.5 in DBs and 8 was too narrow, with my 8.5 my feet feel totally fine.
I also got 8.5 in my desert khans.

hope that helps.

yes .5 down. i have a 9.5 in taupe (my favorite btw) and a 9 in the sand suede. i like to wear jcrew camp socks with my clarks & only can with the 9.5 so that should give you an idea..
