Could I rip out the footbed thing in my GR authentics and replace it with a Syndicate insole? Dont wanna tear up my authentics if I cant replace the footbeds.

^They won't fit right, syndicates are built for those insoles and the GR's aren't. I've tried before, even after carefully removing the GR ones that were glued in. Don't risk it!

On a side note, trolls really hurt my feelings, etc.

You can look at ebay everyday for Nike SB Dunk's, or Jay's, and find every pair you're looking for.. for a dollar amount. But I've scoured ebay that way for two years straight trying to hunt down certain Vans and they just don't come around. True rareness. Nikes just aren't shit but mass produced, mass resold, "swag" pieces. None of them really have any character to me.

On a side note, trolls really hurt my feelings, etc.

True story. Vans just feel more legitimate/authentic as skate shoes. It always seems like Vans puts more thought into their Vaults/Syndicate line up. The Syndicates that came out this year, such as the Dills, were well thought out in their overall execution. Its something thats really unique and something thats limited, you can't find many left on ebay. However looking at Nike SB's limited releases this year, like Supreme, are they really that limited? I mean just looking them up on ebay you'll find plenty of them for prices, that can't really be justified. Nike has a certain idea that they want to portray themselves as, and its evident on essentially every shoe they've produced. Being on websites like Hypebeast or Solecollector you can see Nike's mass production of footwear, and their lack of creativity/character. They're just very empty. Vans has much more intriguing history behind it. They started out as a skate brand, and their roots are firmly planted there. Although they have been diversifying in recent years, they always try to keep a certain uniqueness to their footwear that other brand have yet to accomplish. OTW is unique versus the CA line, likewise so is the Vault and Syndicate lines. If you were to look at all these different lineups side by side you'd be able to tell the differences between them all. The same can't always be said about Nike. Considering if you were to get an sb dunk low and regular dunk lo and put them side by side a random person might not even be able to tell the difference between the two, except for the fact that the SB los would have the tag distinguishing the two dunk los from Air to SB. Vans all day.

NGNG are way better, material wise..

That's cool that the cheetahs are holding up Belak, it's because IFC Changed their rubber compounds back to the way it used to be. Between 2010 and 2012 they were messing with some chinsy rubber.
