You guys, those are listed for that price for a reason. I know some of you see prices like that, or ones that I put on ebay, and instantly think we're greedy fuckers who are trying o burn you. The truth is that when you set a high price, you (usually) avoid ridiculous low ballers. People always knock off $20-60 off a price they see so if you add the amount, you'll get offers for what you want. Cris's current high offer is $200 according to another forum so not much more than that would be necessary to take them home. Don't forget that ebay takes 10% and paypal takes 4%, then you have to ship the heavier box for $15-20 with tracking.

One more thing: navy Era's are the cream of the crop. One of the most sought after, and size 7.5 is EXTREMELY rare. You won't see another nice pair in that range for a long time, if ever again.

On a side note, trolls really hurt my feelings, etc.

Don't get me wrong, I don't like how pricey the good vans are getting, but it's a reality now.

no problem man. Hope you find some eventually! If you already have the burgandy, the navy is 100x better quality, btw, in case you're considering the price.

Those are also expensive because of how rare size 7.5 is.

When I bought the latest Burgundy ones, they told me size 8 was the smallest.

Message me if interested in Navy Wtaps Chukka, OG box/dustbag, about 6/10 though.

The Navy (005) and black/black (006) Crossbones are higher quality in many ways. The waffle sole was produced at the HF factory for these releases, and the rubber is much harder and smoother, vs the IFC made burgandy Wtaps. The silhouette is much straighter and consistent with the navy and black, the sole has a tapered look when you look at it head on, however the burgandy is sloppy, soft, and mishsapen. the rubber on the older ones wears away smooth on the heels and toe piece but the burgandy rubber tears/shreds away in a very ugly way. They wear much differently. The insoles are thicker and squishier than the new ones, even though the new ones appear to be better with the gel pads and shit. I have skated both to death so I know the ways they wear down, and owned/sold several pairs of all so I see the consistency. The navy and black stuff has leather interiors on the Chukka's instead of just canvas glued to the other side of the burgundy canvas, and the Era's have doubled layers of canvas on the inside. They're way more sturdy and retain an asthetic shape throughout their life span while the burgandy just turns to hit fast and loses support.

The burgandy Wtaps have the EXACT same quality as the skate line of Vans you find in the mall now, while the older ones had special rubber which nevers comes out on a shoe that releases at the mall. Now, though, based on what I've seen with some of the samples I have, the IFC factory is correcting the crappy compound mixture of the soles, just like they stopped making that shitty triangle sole that debuted on the Chukka Lows in 2008/2009.

tldr, I know, but just thought I'd drop some knowlege.

The burgandy was made in 6.5-13 but many stores only carried 8-12. I saw a few 6.5's, 7's, and 7.5's sell on ebay in the Chukka's and Era's.

Anyone can inform me on sizing on sk8 hi's compared to authentics?

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I wear the same in both, size 9. Sk8 Hi's can hurt your pinky toes though if you have wide feet due to the overlap of materials, so wide feet should size up .5 unless you plan on skating them.

How would the Jason dill snakeskin authentics skate? i cant really tell if they would hold up or if the leather would rip fast.

^ I still have my pair DS in 9 and wanted to skate them but havent yet. I started skating the Sk8 Lo's from the pack and they're great as far as waffle soles and uppers go, however I hate the foxing. It's too soft, and it tears/shreds off instead of wearing down smooth. But the snake material would hold up fine to skating, I think. Just as good as leather but since it's textured, the leather should open up a little more and develop some decent grip quick.

Yeah I was looking at those too. Im not sure about how leather would hold up to skating. Im new to syndicates and ive never skated anything with a leather upper. I usually just skate the regular era pros.
